Hurst Therapy Centre

Becky Williams opened the doors to Hurst Therapy Centre, a dedicated counselling and psychotherapy centre, in Hurstpierpoint High Street last summer. She wishes to spread the word to the local community that there is now a dedicated in-person counselling and psychotherapy centre right on your doorstep – www.hursttherapycentre.co.uk

Becky has been working as a (UKCP registered) psychotherapist since 2012, completing a Masters (MSc) in Psychotherapy in 2014. A trauma specialist, she is also trained in yoga therapy, breathwork and EMDR and offers clinical supervision to counsellors and psychotherapists. The vision for the centre is to offer an excellent quality, fully qualified and experienced team to cater to the mental health needs of the local community. Hurst Therapy Centre has a fantastic team who work with a range of clients including adults, couples, adolescents, children and families.

“We have some real expertise in a whole range of areas,” Becky explained, “such as trauma, anxiety, depression, OCD, Neurodivergence, couples counselling, women’s health, men’s health, domestic abuse, coercive control recovery, to name a few areas of specialism. A range of therapy approaches from traditional counselling and psychotherapy to more trauma focussed EMDR and somatic mind-body approaches are available.”

Becky is also creating a local community for qualified counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologist working in private practice and registered with BACP, UKCP, NCPS, BPS, HCPC, via networking sessions, help with marketing, peer supervision and reasonably priced trainings, please get in touch if you’d like to be part of our professional community, rent a room, join the newsletter, hear about events, supervision and CPD. Becky spent five years training counsellors and psychotherapists at University of Brighton and plans to offer a range of CPD training events at the centre.
