About us at Kipper Life...
It all started with one community magazine for Lindfield back in 2009, where the vision of David and Emma Tingley was simple: To create a magazine that would mean something to the residents of the village.
Working with the Parish Council and various other organisations we devised a format which would be intrinsically linked to its readers because it was all about the place where they love to live and their neighbours and friends who share that joy with them.
Lindfield Life was born and we had created not only a platform for news and information about the village to be shared from but also a vehicle for businesses to promote themselves to a truly engaged readership.
As soon as we realised the difference we could make to the local community, we were keen to do the same elsewhere. In 2012 we launched Cuckfield Life, and in 2015 Hurst Life was first published and distributed.
In May 2019 we added a fourth title to the family with the launch of Hassocks Life – now popular amongst residents in Hassocks; bringing some colour through the doors of the community each month.
Scroll forward to September 2025, and the Kipper Life team expand out to its first town. Haywards Heath Life is born. The same known format, and vision to be the place for news and information in Haywards Heath – with the only difference that we are letting the people pick this one up from 15 dispenser outlets across the town.

Five local magazines created for local residents
The communities we write about...
At Kipper we publish five community magazines in West Sussex. Lindfield Life, Cuckfield Life, Hurst Life and Hassocks Life and Haywards Heath Life. Each of the magazines are delivered to all the homes in each area every month. We are proud to help connect residents and communities together through our regular village-specific content in each magazine, as well as putting our advertisers in front of their local target audience via our pages every month.
Lindfield Life
Lindfield Life is a magazine with a print run of 5,000, hand-delivered throughout the village.
Hurst Life
Hurst Life is a free, full colour community magazine which 4,000 copies are published monthly.
Haywards Heath Life
Haywards Heath Life is our newest magazine for the town which 7,000 copies are published.
Hassocks Life
Hassocks Life is a free, community magazine which is published monthly. We print 4,800 copies.
Cuckfield Life
Cuckfield Life is the magazine for Cuckfield and also nearby Bolnore Village. 4,500 copies are printed each month.
